About this deal

Busy Bee Tools has a complete selection of dust collection equipment, ranging from industrial baghouse dust collector units, to vacuum dust collectors that work for woodworking dust collection. Your purchases help support Microjig's safety initiative to donate Grr-rippers to every public high school with a Career Technical Woodworking Program. otherwise they would not demand "Splitter/Guard/Anti-kickback fingers" to come as a part of the table saws sold in USA. BUT with a "safety first" mentality, and the use of the GRRR-Ripper in the appropriate applications, fear can be replaced with a healthy respect. The Grr-Ripper is by far the most expensive push block on the market however, it is the best selling push block for a reason.

I claimed that the safety regulation is "Blade guard (and riving knife) must be installed for ANY operation on the table saw. I Googled GRR-Ripper and found it sold in UK but there is some note in red font that I could not understand the meaning. We have a wide selection of metal cutting tools and tools designed to remove material from your project. Also, the Grr-Ripper provides standard a built-in balance support attachment that can be used if making thin cuts and you need extra support to keep the push block flat. The GRR-RIPPER 2GO™ is designed to protect your hands from injuries while working with the table saw. In my opinion, the value greatly outweighs the cost and would look at the Grr-Ripper if you're considering upgrading your standard push stick. I personally have not had any issues with my Grr-Ripper and haven't noticed any weak points on the push block.

Also, the Grr-Ripper has more surface area to easily manage pattern routing while keeping your hands elevated and away from the dangerous spinning bits. If you're a professional woodworker and need more functionality from your push block MicroJig offers additional accessories that work with every Grr-Ripper push block. If you're not big into woodworking and only plan to use a table saw a few times a year, then you will be fine using the factory push stick and a feather board. Use the GRR-RIPPER in the vertical position to resaw or veneer cuts firmly against the fence to prevent bandsaw drift and ensure a straight cut from beginning to end. I am disappointed because you can not do much with just one of these things if you are working with anything longer than 10-12 inches.Presses the workpiece against the machine table - eliminates vibration, workpiece flutter and kickback.

If you choose to get the GR-200 it is essentially the same except for an extra stabilizing plate and adjustable space. The adjustable pushblock is also able to cut thin strips down to 1/4 of an inch thick and even thinner with the 1/8 inch add-on leg. I immediately discovered that the jig offered more control than my other pushers; no doubt a result of the high friction pads on the adjustable and fixed legs. Find every metalworking tool or piece of metalworking equipment you need in the quality selection available from Busy Bee Tools. To cut tapers on wide panels, you can help feed the material with your other hand, provided it’s no less than 12” from the blade. The GRR-RIPPER® provides downward and inward pressure, keeping both sides of the cut parallel to the blade.
