I hope I was successful in showing you how to make lip balm the natural way. This recipe filled about 2 small lip balm containers and 4 lip balm tubes. It has a rich, balmy texture, but it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. It sits on the lips just enough to stay put when you’re eating and drinking. If you suffer from very dry lips, it works wonders as a base for lip products, creating a hydrating barrier and smoothing flakes/chapping. Before the tubes are starting to set, fill the rest of the way, so there is a convex curve on the top (be careful not to spill over the edges). When the lip balm cools, it will shrink so it should end up having a flat top. If you need to even out the top, a heat gun works really well.
