About this deal

So read on to see whether the Huawei B535 is worth hanging on to (or buying in the first place) or whether you’re better off with something different. Design

I’m not aware of any way to change the network profile that’s been installed on the device by the supplier. One of the joys of 4G routers is that they’re usually incredibly easy to set up, as is the case with the Huawei B535 / Huawei HomeFi Plus.Anyways - it is very odd that this guy on reddit says he has bridgemode (which he also shows with the image included) - our modems are totally identical - both hardware wise and version wise - except for my WebUI that differs. We even have the same ISP. Very similar. Both achieve maximum of 60 down and 30 up, more typically 30-40 down and 20 up. I would say that the MR600 appears slightly more consistent on speeds, but given all the factors involved I'd say there's no difference. Huawei B535 4G LTE WiFi -reitittimen avulla voit käyttää nopeaa mobiiliyhteyttä esimerkiksi Full HD -videoiden suoratoistoon. Pienikokoinen ja huomaamaton muotoilu tekee reitittimestä erinomaisen pieneen toimisto- ja kotikäyttöön. Pienestä koosta huolimatta laite on erittäin suorituskykyinen. Reitittimessä on myös 4 Gigabit Ethernet -porttia langallisia yhteyksiä varten. So a mast can effectively have 5 different carriers on it with separate radio gear and they all share the same pipes of "available bandwidth" so to speak?? I'll try again tomorrow...I'll also try forcing Band 1 on the MR600 and comparing since I now know it's a magic one!

What's also interesting is that custom band selection gets me better bandwidth than my Samsung S10 as well - even if I stand on my roof next to my external antenna and hold my phone up high... photos maximum, each photo's size should be less than 10MB (bmp, jpg, png, gif, and jpeg are supported)I think the beta firmware on the MR600 is really solid, and it appears many issues have been ironed out in the year since the product released. I suspect we will never get new firmware for the B535. I don't know much about this but to it seems like it's not really about if the modem can enter bridgemode or not (because it can) - it's more about if the web-interface supports/shows the menu - at least both the other guy and me had the same firmware version except for the WebUI-version. Press & hold the volume up + The volume down first then press the power button and keep pressing all together. There’s nothing visible about 64QAM and I had to look up what it is. On the MR600 forum, someone has identified the actual modem inside the box, and the specs state up to 64QAM. But I can’t validate that in any way. As a matter of interest, is upgrading mast tech to MIMO just a hardware upgrade or is available bandwidth at a mast increased during these MIMO upgrades as a matter of course?

Just wondering because surely with better connectivity of MIMO wouldn't that automatically increase the availability of bandwidth to users on that mast?In reply to a post by barker04:Hmm in which case does this mr600 support 64QAM ? Does anyone know , or can you suggest one that does ? Not sure if the B535 does ? The MR600 ran faultlessly for over week while I worked from home - video conferences never dropped. The kids can game on both PS4 with voice chat and the Nintendo Switch which is notoriously fussy given the P2P nature of its online service. I watched Solo on Disney+ which it says is 4K and YouTube usually defaults to 720p. To sign up for the activity, xxxxx EXP will be taken from your account (current EXP: xxxxxx). Continue?

MR600 has the band selection in the interface in the beta firmware (and they're still releasing firmware!), however for me this doesn't really work as intended, as previously explained. Also, there are some band combinations that it doesn't support for 4G+. E.g. it won't do 1+3, which is important on the Three network. Anyway, sorry this post isn't particularly well structured. I do feel that even though some of the issues I have with the router are also present on my phone, they are to a much lesser degree and perhaps it's not solely a network issue and that perhaps there is something in this being a router issue too, if even only partially. Perhaps this router exacerbates the network issues Cat 7 over 6 only affects uplink, and only if your operator supports it on the mast. In Phone terms both are quite old now.My area is covered by 5G masts from Three and I'll be using a Smarty SIM but I didn't find good value on 5G routers as 4G+ will meet my needs. The preceding specifications are theoretical values obtained by Huawei internal laboratories through tests carried out under particular conditions. For more information on the specific testing conditions, refer to the aforementioned product details.
